we’re building a new lavatory with entire new walls. I’ve bought a good marble floor tile at a huge price that I hope to utilize around the tub and as well instead of the apron in the front of the tub.
The tub will as well have a shower. Can I do this and do you’ve any recommendations as to what materials to utilize? Thank you.

They l work fine as long as you put a cement board for a backer material.
A vapor barrier is strongly recommended also.
If you have pure marble you ll have to use an raw edge of the tile as your finish edge, no big deal there since the marble color goes all the way through.
